waiit i just saw the thing you posted about bananas and i lovee bananas that arent ripe yet and slightly green. could you explain more? thanks!

green bananas are all starch, they haven’t ripened enough for the banana to become fructose (sugar) yet. Eating green bananas will cause bloating/gas/constipation. Bananas antioxidant levels increase as they ripen. Fully ripened bananas (freckled) produce a substance called TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor).  This means that ripe bananas have anti-cancer qualities as they combat abnormal cells. The more dark patches a banana has, the higher its immunity enhancement quality will be!!

So I work at a grocery store so I can always check out the bananas to see when they have reduced bananas when I’m working and get almost first dibs and buy almost all of the reduced bananas. Recently they’ve changed the price from 39¢ a pound to 25¢! I went shopping on Saturday and bought a lot and then yesterday they had put out MORE so I bought a bunch more. So I have tons of bananas now that I all got for 25¢ a pound! Plus, I’ve been eating the organic ones I bought last week. Need to freeze a lot of them so I can make icecream! I’m going to add up from Saturday and Monday’s receipts to see how many pounds I bought and how much it all cost :)
